I registered here because I received an invitation from another site. I cruised the website and saw what it was about and found several areas which I feel could help me in my daily life.

I used to post at another web site. I really liked it a lot. I received an e-mail from them and they said the same people have this web site. I took a look and really liked it. I enjoy having a neighborhood I can hang out in and get new ideas. I like the organization of site. I like how it has new posts and also has posts in categories.

Also, I looked in my AOL spam folder and saw that a reply to post was in this folder. So now I need to be on the lookout for this because I do enjoy receiving these messages.

I joined because after my hysterectomy, I felt like I just didn't fit in with another website anymore- It was the best thing that happened to me- The other site helped me more than they will ever know. I found so much information and so many friends. I didn't feel alone with my pain and surgery. I knew that I would be just fine. :) This site is so great- I can get alot of neat info and hear wonderful stories. I love the supportive nature of everyone here. Once again- THANK YOU!!!!

I registered because this is a great place for me to talk to other women from all over with different backgrounds some of which that share similiarities to mine. Its gotten me to be a little more goal setting, and gave me a place to hang out online! Plus the lady who created this is a genius and an incredible woman!! She knows exactly what women want, and she gives it to us!! :)

I am simply looking to do some online mingling with other women who may or may not have similar interests or circumstances as me. I like meeting people and talking. Being here gives me a nice, clean place to relax and unwind at night before bed.

I decided to register at this site because I liked the fact that it was a safe, supportive and motivating place where women could go to meet new people, discuss things we are all dealing with and come in contact with a variety of people who are all different, but can help to motivate one another. It is difficult to find sites in this day and age that you can feel comfortable and at the same time, be encouraged and motivated! Thanks!

Thank you for this incredible opportunity for woman around the world.

Hi annarose :)

Just put the GGG address on your AOL address list so that AOL thinks it's one of your *friends*, then it won't be putting the replies in your spam box.

Hope this info helps :bliss:

hi all, I joined because i got an invitation from another site, and the i like the fact the rules seem to make this a safe outlet. i'm more than a little computer illiterate and am kind of afraid of some of the chat rooms. my free time is often at odd hours,so i 'm not able to talk to my friends much.

I got an invite from the other site and I didn't go there much since having my hysterial retcum.. but I do visit a chat room and well the chat scene isgetting a bit old so I took a look around here and decided that I enjoy the place and was motivated by many of the topics and loved the idea of not having to fight sex starved chatters! Thanks for the invite.. plus I really have enjoyed meeting and getting to know the people to whom have replied to some of my emails. It's a wonderful place.. THANKS!

I am almost a year out from having my hysterectomy and didn't feel like I fit in with the other website anymore. I made some GREAT friends from there and we still communicate online. That site was a blessing when I was going through all the female problems. Now I just want a place to go to that I can talk to other women about other things and even make some new online friends.

Like many I saw the ad on the another site and it just seemed a natural progression. Although I still continue to visit the other site to offer support as I know how valuable that support can be. I have made many wonderful new friends who have also progressed to this site because the sites offer us all a safe forum to discuss and support each other.

Life is so crazy. All women need a support base, and online is a place that is accessible and easy. I look for that every day, and I hope I have found it.

I was invited to check this site out, but I joined because I immediately liked what I saw. :) This is a friendly, relaxed place where we can explore a lot of aspects of our lives in the company of others who share common interests. I think it is a great place to work on personal growth.

I was invited to join this site also. :)

Having people to talk to and having articles to read that are geared toward women are so important to have in your life. I just really was excited to see this new website and I really wanted to be a part of it.

So thank you to those working so hard in the background for all of us, its nice to have a place to come together and chat (and learn too).

I had registered on HysterSisters about a year or two ago because I thought I might have to undergo a hysterectomy and wanted to educate myself about the procedure and recovery. Thankfully, I did not have to have the surgery as my problems cleared up. I was invited to join this site via HysterSisters and it looked interesting when I checked it out. Also, it seemed to be a good way to get my mind off my job by learning and sharing with other women. As a teacher, I deal with little ones all day and it's nice to be able to "talk" and "discuss" with grown-ups after a long day at school!

I received an invite e-mail because I'm a member of another site. That site / those boards are such a friendly, comfortable place that I'm sure this one will be too. So I took a quick look -- and joined. Think I'm gonna like it here.

I registered because I received an email from my other favorite site that helped me so much this past year. I took a look at this site and it offers so much. I think the support and friendship are great. I can't wait to meet more friends and get to know everyone. I have some goals set and I feel that this site can help me reach for them.

I joined from another site that I had outgrown...and I really love seeing some of the familiar names...although, I do have a different name, but the same avatar. And, I'm really looking forward to meeting some new friends. I joined the other site for support after surgery. I had never really been into using my computer for anything other than work, but I've found that I really like the chance to interact with other women. I work from home and I have become something of a home body.

I had the invitation from another site. I came, I saw, I liked, I joined. Seriously.... so many sites these days are full of nasty, mean, foul mouthed people. This place is so not like that. I also knew that, since this site was created by the same folks as the other site, and run with the same ethics, that my PC wouldn't be bombarded with spyware and such.

The variety in the community is out of this world.

I meet women I never would have met, even were I still living in the US!

When you find something that works for you, you grow with it to make sure it continues to work for you.

To have received the tremendous amount of support during one of my scariest times in life from a wesbite was something new to me but it worked.
To find another site, similar and organized by the same wonderful woman, that deals with other issues rather than my female bits, is pure elation.
A place to 'meet' wonderful women, get back in touch with some of my cyberfriends from HS and to discuss things other than pre- or post-op stuff.

Thanks Kathy and Kate

I agree with the others, this site is fabulous. I have been hopeing for a site like this for some time, just for women. We are all so different but have so much to offer each other and I love the level of respect that is shown by everyone. I personally wanted this type of site to share my thoughts, trials and tribulations and to help others when I can. It's the women friendship thing that is lacking in my life to the level that I want to share it so this helps fill the void. I can definately see how it helps my in person relationships too. Theres so much to draw on here from each other. Like the others I'm glad to have found this site from Hystersisters and I LOVE the way it is set up. It is so easy to browse and interact with. THANK YOU!

I received an invitation to join and here I am. I had my hysterectomy 4 years ago and Hyster Sisters was a great way for me to communicate. I even have a great friendship to this day with someone I met there. It turns out she lives 5 minutes away from me.

Anyway, I really wanted to find another forum where I can just talk and get some substance and have fun at the same time. So yeah, I jumped at this. I use the same username here in case there is someone here that I knew from Hyster Sisters.

Now I just need to get going and do I ever!

Cheers,
Cathi

:) I posted regulary, and still do, on another site after my hysterectomy and found this site through a link. I like both boards because they are active and current. It's a wonderful way to talk and discuss so many different issue and ideas. :D I had tried other sites but found that people rarely posted and the messages were severly dated. I also like that I've found friends from the other site on this one and we can talk about other things here. ;)

Truth be told...I was looking for a forum to belong to. I used to post in another forum and got tired with the back biting, flaming and overall problems they were having. I want to belong to a forum where I can make friends, chat about whatever and have fun.

This looks like just the place.

I was so lucky to have stumbled onto the Hystersister site after my surgery, and found it to be such a help. I found this site on Hystersister so I though I'd look into it. I find that I have very little motivation to get stuff done so the challenges are a great idea for me. Josie
