I love iced tea and find it refreshing for anytime. I even drink it in the winter. Research reports are showing the benefits of drinking green tea. One report says this about its benefits:

Researchers at the University of Murcia in Spain (UMU) and the John Innes Center (JIC) in Norwich, England have shown that a compound called EGCG in green tea prevents cancer cells from growing by binding to a specific enzyme. "We have shown for the first time that EGCG, which is present in green tea at relatively high concentrations, inhibits the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR), which is a recognized, established target for anti-cancer drugs, " Professor Roger Thorneley, of JIC, told Reuters.

Are you enjoying Green tea?

I do enjoy tea. I'm a HUGE tea drinker, both hot and cold. I love to try new kinds of teas as well. Green Tea is a good, basic tea that I can always fall back on though.

I drink green tea hot every once in awhile. It's ok cold if there's nothing else around.

I am a hot tea drinker and love green tea. I have had really good and really bad green teas. The worst tasting like spinach water. I drink a lot of other teas as well though becuase I need variety.
If you ladies are interrested in antioxidants, good quality dark chocolate is supposed to have a high concentration as well! YUM

I enjoy green tea. I try to drink at least one cup a day, usually in the evening. I don't think I could make myself drink iced tea in the winter. :cold:

I drink green tea all the time. I actually like it better than regular tea. I've started buying the green tea with some mint in it. :yum:

I have heard that all teas but green especially stain teeth real bad. I personally haven't tried it, because I am not that big of a tea drinker to begin with, and green tea is scary!!

I just read on WebMD about a study in Japan that stated,
" Elders who drink green tea regularly may have sharper minds than those who don't drink green tea."
You can read more about this study at the link below:

I love green tea. I drink a big "TEXAS" size glass every evening with my meal. Of course iced. I'm not much of a hot tea drinker being from Texas. I really like the flavored ones too. I've tried the loose tea, but usually just buy the bags. I always opt for green tea when eating out if they offer it. It's so mild, you don't need to add any sugar to it. Another plus!

Green tea is very beneficial. Good in weight loss, good for cholesterol, and in fighting cancer cells.

I used to drink a lot of green tea but found that I didn't like the amount of caffeine I was getting and didn't care for the chemical decaffeinated process....
So I discovered ROOIBOS tea. I did some research on it, all through the internet and then with an asian tea shop and found that it has more antioxidents as green AND there is no caffeine.
And I drink it hot or cold (or even day old from the fridge)

I have been drinking green tea now for about 2 weeks. I have noticed bladder pressure, too recently. I am wondering if any of you had any ill effects from drinking green tea?
