Anyone addicted to Sugar? I could use a challenge with this. I am so addicted it is silly. I need a sugar partner I can talk to on an hourly basis about this. If I could crack the sugar I could lose weight. I am so emotional, if someone says something to me I have to get a Snickers to calm down. That is not right I have to kick this monkey, anyone with me?
ADMIN: Can I suggest this challenge?

I think I'm with you on this one. I love sugar!!!
My downfall is sugar in coffee. The irony is that I love plain (no cream or sugar) coffee -- but if I do decide to have sugar/cream in it, I may as well stop eating for the day afterwards, because I put SEVERAL teaspoonfuls of sugar in. (of course, I have the 16-oz. mugs, too).
I'd be better off just having a shot of espresso with ONE packet of sugar, but of course that doesn't appeal to me.
I have used the Slim-fast program and actually that has helped with the sugar thing. The meal bars and shakes are all very sweet, so it kind of kills the craving for sweets because that's what you're eating all day long. When you get to the "sensible meal" you want veggies, meats, starch... but no more sugar. I find my "dessert" is usually crackers or popcorn. No more ice cream!

I was like that hun after my husband walked out on me with 4 small children
If i didnt have a snickers or some sort of chocolate bar upon getting up id get nasty migraines or headaches and be bad tempered
I'd hide chocolate so i had some to get upto and then when i dropped my 3 eldest children off at school i would go to the shop with my youngest and buy some more to hide away
I'm not like it now
I can get up and eat nothing at all for the whole day
But sometimes if i feel a little depressed or something is worrying me i still turn to sweet things to eat
I know what your going through with the sugar as i was the same :)

Angel you are with me. I was hiding candy and I got ot th point where I had to eat a piece of candy or any sweets before I could go to bed. That is bad. I hide sweets from my family so I wont have to share. My portions are out of control. But I am happy to admit that I have gone 1 and a half days with no sweets. No candt, cakes, cookies, NOTHING. Yea me. I am doing well. I normally have a sweet after every meal, breakfast lunch dinner, snack, that is so bad, one day at a time thanks GGG girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
