I was thinking we could start thread about our thoughts about the current episodes.

I DO NOT like the new Liza. I hope second impressions are better.

WHAT does Adam have over Krystal? Any one have any idea?

For a while I was thinking that Annie was actually Torie and didn't remember it. I think that would have been a much more interesting way to take that story.

I really want Amanda and Jake to get together. He's so cute!

Gosh it's been forever since I have seen this soap. I remember watching it during the summer time when I was a pre teen. Mona, Erica, Dr Charles, Jeff, etc. I do try and catch up on soap net occassionally.

I heard about Liza coming back, but have not seen an episode yet with her in it.

The Annie stuff is a bit much for me. I haven't been able to get into that storyline, what little I have caught of it on soap net.

Heck, I still want Tad and Dixie to be together. :signlol:

Do you watch General Hospital? That is another soap I grew up on.

I watch it and I couldn't agree with you more on the Amanda and Jake issue. I think they really have chemistry. I missed last Thursday and Friday so I have not seen the new Liza. I'm so disappointed that they didn't get Marcy Walker back. I understand that she has retired from acting.

Can't wait to see what Adam has on Krystal. It must be good. I'm trying to figure out who is going to be killed in May. I really hope it is not Adam. I would not be upset if it was David. I think the new writer has totally ruined that character. He was always the bad guy, but now it seems like he's heading to a place that makes him unredeemable.

Annie could go away and I really wouldn't mind at all. Same with Ryan. I used to love the character of Ryan, not so much any more.

I want to see more Jack, Tad (and Dixie!), Amanda and Jake, Dr. Joe and Ruth!

Those are the words DH dared me to use when I called cable to complain that the soap channel wasn't working. Of course, it worked for OLTL when I was flipping thru the channels an hour later.

I was distraught, just not severely.

I did get to read the recap on Soap Net. Reading just isn't the same.

So what did you think of Liza? I will keep an open mind for tonight. Hopefully it's working at 8 b/c I don't want to have to stay up til 1 am b/c I don't think I will be able to do it.

Oh if only this were the biggest problem I had to deal with for the day. What a good day I'd be having.

Esther Waxworth ~ Aiden told Jesse that's the name Annie's using now that she's on the run.

Marissa ~ I'm guessing that SHE's David's daughter, not Babe. She looks too much like Krystal, and today she said she made a bad decision a long time ago and it's come back to be used against her.

OK, I finally saw the episodes I had missed (love that DVR!). And I agree with you. I really think that Marissa is Krystal's daughter. But it really makes me wonder why? Hmmmm.

I hope Annie/Ester just goes away! I know it's not going to happen, but I wish it would.

I want Jesse and Angie to have a great storyline. I really miss their stories from way back when.

Hopefully I can now watch AMC on the day it airs! I'm all caught up on my appointments (until next week!).

Please tell me it's not Susan Lucci (Erica) being killed off! I read a post and Pratt (head writer :mad: ) said that clues are out there - look at contracts. Her contract is up this summer. I sure hope not.

If you want to see something funny, go to The Pine Valley Bulletin on the internet and watch the Pratt Falls episodes that are posted. Hilarious!

It really would not bother me if Erica was killed off. She drives me absolutely crazy!

I think I read somewhere (online? magazine at work?) that it was going to be David. I doubt it will be him though b/c he's the center of all evil and who would take his place?

Might be Frankie. Killed in Iraq. That would be handy. Scott would comfort her and we already saw on Frieday that the two of them have a little something if not just flirting going on.

I also read that Reece will be leaving for good when her and Bianca get back together and go to Paris.

I hope it is not Erica! I love Susan Lucci. She is the heart and soul of that show. I think there would a very loud and vocal fan outcry should they choose to do something so foolish. Look at Days of Our Lives. They have let many veterans go and are now on the verge of cancellation.

David has no redeeming qualities, would love it if it were him. I have never cared for him or his character. We will still have our love to hate character of Adam. He's always good for an evil deed or two or three. ;)

It could be Adam, they have him having health issues, so maybe something will come of that.

It would be interesting if they have him dealing with Alzheimer's or something similar to that.

I hope it's not Adam either. I'm really hoping it's David. We do know that David is switching Adam's meds and is poisoning him, so it could be. Oh well, time will tell.

The newest commercial for the murder in Pine Valley says it's going to be one of the older well known residents (those aren't the words, can't remember the actual words).

So I'm guessing it's going to be Adam. Just the way the commercial is, to me, it's pointing to Adam.

And he's the main suspect (in Tad's eye) for Dixie's murder. He's going to be a suspect in Chapell's murder. And if anything is actually happening to Ian like they let it hang on Friday, he's going to be on Zach's short list when it comes to light that he didn't stop the surgery or warn them afterward that there might be trouble.

It can't be Tad, b/c he's still investigating Dixie's murder.

It can't be David b/c he doesn't know Marissa is his daughter and that's got to be in the upcoming story line. And he's to evil to kill, who would stir up trouble if he were out of town?

Could be Opal, she's not really involved in any story line. Just shows up for dramatic scenes, visions etc. To her credit, she did give Erica support in the chapel when Erica was feeling alone and wanted her Mother and Mertyl.

Can't be Erica b/c she's Erica.

So, anyone have new suspicions after another week of drama?

Yeah, I think it's going to be Adam. I kinda like that character, but they have to get rid of someone that people care about (in my opinion). Now, I've been noticing people telling Adam that they want to kill him. So, that's my guess. Not my personal choice, but I guess they need to do something to bring up the ratings so they don't go the way of Guiding Light.

You know, until you said it, I didn't realize there had been so many threats against him. Just didn't give it a thought.

Also, if Adam goes, Erica can play the 'oh woe is me' I loved him so much card. You got to admit, she's been pretty good to him lately and it almost seems sincere.

If it is Adam, that doesn't mean he's out of a job as you would still have Stuart. Maybe it's Stuart, but everyone will think it is Adam!

Is Palmer still around? The few times I have caught an episode, I don't see much mentioned about him.

A while back when Opal lost all her money and moved in with Tad & Jake she said that Palmer is out of the country avoiding some sort of fraud charges. That was the gist of it, I think he was in some islands somewhere.

And you're right, Stuart could get killed instead of Adam. I've been reading spoilers and it sounds like too many people want Adam dead for it not to be him.

Don't you love the pine valley bulletin! I don't know how she gets her info, but it is usually better than other sites I've seen through the years.

Yes, I have also seen where it could be Stuart (by mistake) instead of Adam. That would be OK, I guess. I know that Marian is supposed to be coming back for a couple of episodes, so that is entirely possible. I'm surprised that they aren't having it be Palmer, but I wonder if he is in reality retired? I haven't read that he did officially retire, but he is really up there in years. I used to love his character! I read that the actress that plays Amanda may be leaving this summer. I don't know if it is for good, if it's just an extended vacation, or if they will recast.

I wish they would bring Laurence Lau back as Greg. Now that Jesse and Angie are back, it would be nice to give them some of their old friends back, besides Tad. Love Tad.

Oh well, this should be an interesting week!

So, who else besides me thought they were watching a bad episode of Clue on Friday? It was even alluded to by Krystal on today's episode.

Okay, so who do you think did it? I'm guessing it's going to be someone we didn't see there. Like Gayle (the nurse), Marissa or Amanda. Don't know why Amanda would it though.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's Stuart not Adam that was shot.

I also think it was Stuart. But, I think it was Liza who did it. Not sure why I immediately thought that, but that's my guess.

It was definitely a Clue moment! The way the cameras were moving in circles was actually starting to make me a little sick.

I can't wait to see the changed Tad. That should be interesting to see.

So I was thinking that when Liza asked Tad if he saw who shot Adam/Stuart and he kissed her was he telling her that he knew she did it? Pam's comment got me thinking and she made me suspicious today with all the running around asking questions.

So it looks like Adam & Annie are going to get together. Hopefully they don't show more than what they've already showed, him holding her hand at the hospital. What's your thought? Is Aidan going to be jealous or relieved to be rid of her? I'm guessing they will go with jealous, will make for a better show. Or may be they will have Annie upset that Aidan doesn't want her and that will be the way they go. Most likely b/c I'm thinking it they will not even turn it into anything.

Amanda has her baby this week. I'm guessing that she keeps it. How can she not, she's been getting closer and closer to that point all pregnancy and the previews look like she gives it up and then wants it back. I'm guessing that will be a nightmare and she has it all along.

There is talk on the boards and the Pratt Falls video that maybe Erica and Ryan get together. They've already given us a preview of this when they were stuck in the cabin together. Yuck is all I have to say as far as my reaction goes. But it would make sense that Ryan finds someone else soon b/c Kendall is now with Zach and if Adam and Annie become an item that leaves him out in the cold. And we all know that Ryan doesn't do out in the cold well at all. He bounces from one woman to the next very quickly. The whole Greenlee in the morgue (or was she?) and him in bed with Kendall comes to mind.

I'm pretty sure Marissa is going to end up with a Chandler boy. Not sure which one yet. Any ideas? She seems to have better chemistry with Scott IMHO, but the whole falling in love with your sister's husband is such a classic soap story I would be surprised if they don't go that way.

So David gave up Krystal quickly. Guess he's got too many irons in the fire to even think about her. I must say that Marissa is following in Krystal's footsteps as far as the whole 'I believe in you' sticking by him goes.

I'm happy that Jake and Amanda are getting married this week. They are so cute together.

I'm already tired of Frankie's poor me attitude. I get the whole thing, they did it with Brot not all that long ago. I just want to kick that whole story line to the curb and be done with it. Really those characters could leave and they wouldn't really kill the rest of any story lines. Taylor, Brot, Frankie, Randi and even Angie have been periphery characters to lots of stories but don't have a strong story to keep me interested in them.

Oh, have you checked out the Pine Valley Bulletin the last couple days? Eden has been doing a series and won a Webby for it. I just watched all of the episodes and absolutely loved them. Hope they continue with them. They can be found at imaginary*****es.com. Okay, they didn't let that like get posted, was wondering if the filter would catch that. I'm not so sure about this Adam and Annie pairing. It just seems a little weird to me. That, along with the pairing of Erica and Ryan. Not so sure about all of this.

I am really liking Amanda and Jake together. I think they can be a really good match if they can keep the actress who plays Amanda around. I know that now she's extended her contract until the end of the year, but I really like her with Jake.

I wish they would give Angie and Jesse more story. For them being as close to Tad as they were in the old days, they really aren't playing that angle very much. But they really could do away with Frankie, Randi, Taylor, and Brot. Although I do like the story line with Brot working with Iraqi war vets. AMC has always been very good with issues that are actually going on in the present time, and that is pretty much right on.

I could definitely do with out Aiden and Annie also. What is the point of their characters?

I now wonder if Little A or Emma shot Stuart? Hmmm.

I haven't had the time to watch the latest episode of Pratt Falls. Hope to be able to do that in a few days (as soon as school is out).

I was reading about the Ryan/Eric pairing in the TV Guide. Honestly, I don't like Ryan. I have always found him to be quite smug. That said, I'm sure Susan Lucci will make the storyline work. Maybe I need to DVR AMC for awhile, I would like to see how Susan does with this one.

And darn it, I was always hoping that Jackson and Erica would get back together. :stomp:

It's official. They will be a pair. Yuck. I've never liked either of him. I hate how the world MUST revolve around her. And Ryan's whisper voice and buggy eyes, annoy me to no end.

Oh and while I'm her let me tell you again how much Marissa's defending David is driving me nuts. It's like when a newly hired person comes in and tries to change everything w/o knowing why things are being done the way they are. That we've been there, done that, and have a history behind us and know how things really stand.

IMHO it's starting to look more like Annie killed Stuart.

I don't like where the Erica / Ryan relationship is going. I'm guessing just when things actually get hot and heavy Greenlee is going to excape from that hospital that David has nurse Gayle working at. And since it sounds like Rebecca Budig is done with the Greenlee character, I'm guessing they will go the amnesia route. Maybe a head injury that will alter her personality and maybe she had some physical deformities from the accident and being in the freezing water. Anyway, that's my hope that Greenlee will step in and rearrange the Erica / Ryan relationship.

I'm glad that spoilers (according to the Soap Network website) are saying that Tad and Taylor are going to get start a relationship.

I don't know that Randi is a strong enough character for the plot they have her in. It should be a good story line though.

Spoilers are hinting that Liza doesn't have Amanda's baby.

i hope randy and her new hubby are ok together and that he can do surgery again with his hands being a dr.
