I just began reading "Chicken soup for the Cat and Dog Lover's Soul". I have read the first 5 stories and I have found them to be very moving. Three of the stories were especially moving. "Agnes and Mattie" The story of how an elderly woman came to accept and thrive in an assisted living facility with the help of a Black Lab named Mattie.
"Friends in Arms" the story of a German Shepherd who while serving with the British in World War II saved the life of his human partner. Last but not least was "The Yorshire Christmas Cat" the story of how a dying mother cat used the last of her strengh to bring her kitten to a place she knew he would be cared for. I love this book and recomend it any one who loves animals.
