What hair products do you use? I have been changing around trying to find a better product that works well on my hair. Problem is that after I use it for awhile it seems to not work as well as when I first started using it. I do use Neutrogena once a week to clear my hair of buildup.

I used Infusium for years, but felt that my hair needed something more. Tried a few different brands, did not like them. Than my hair started falling out so I switched to the Nioxin line. I think it did help my hair, but in the end I felt like my hair didn't have much body or shine.

I bought something called Ion at Sally's beauty supply. I liked it, but after using for a month decided that it really wasn't working for my hair.

Now I am on to Aveeno. CVS had a special where if you bought $20 worth of products you received $10 back. Thus I bought shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream and some lotion.

I love the lotion and the shaving cream. Thus far, I like the shampoo and conditioner, even had a comment at work on how shiny and silky my hair looked. Guess time will tell if this is a long term commitment or not. :D

How about mousse and hair spray? I have been trying to find some good mousse, but have not been successful. I had a 20% off coupon so I bought biolage, recalling my hair dresser mentioning that brand years ago.

For hair spray, I don't need want stiffness, I just want hold. I had been using Sebastian on the advise of the store consultant awhile back. I liked it at first, but am in need of a change.

After a few days of using the cheap 99cent sale stuff, my hair feels limp, but otherwise I can use pretty much anything. I don't use conditioners because my hair feels too heavy and greasy afterward.

I used to buy what was on sale but last time I ended up with Costso's Kirkland shampoo and really like it. The only specialty product I use is a shampoo for swimmers. I'm not crazy about it as a shampoo so only use it after swimming and then follow-up with my normal shampoo.

I don't use hairspray, but ocassionally use mousse. Again any brand will do.

Personally, I feel like if you pay a little more, you use less of the product, so I usually buy the mid-range brands.

I've bought Biolage before and really liked it (shampoo and mousse).

Take care

i always buy shaper/shaper plus hairspray. its alot more expensive than most but ive noticed my hair is very healthy since i'm not using less expensive ones (i think they have a lot of alcohol in them) and i definitely dont need as many haircuts. its about $15.00-$16.00 a can but ulta puts in on sale on the time.
i like all of the aussie shampoos and conditioner. 3 minute miracle is great to use once a week.

Since I have color-treated hair  I asked my hairdresser what to use. I use the Tri products - ecologen shampoo and styling gel. I also use Options detangler. I've used them for years. They don't seem to build up on my hair at all. Since I have shorter hair, there's no need for hair spray.

I use Tresemme Shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. I love it. I used to buy the expensive stuff, but I just can't afford it anymore!

I'm still using Aveeno shampoo and conditioner. I use Biolage Hairspray and the volumizing mousse. I also buy the deep conditioning treatment that I use once a week. Ulta has been having good sales, buy 2 get 1 free, with a 20% off your entire purchase coupon, I was able to stock up.

Interesting, one time they were out of the volumizing mousse so I bought the other kind they had. Just didn't do the same thing for my hair. My hair was full of static, just didn't work the same as the volumizing.

I also use Tresemme color shampoo/conditioner. My stylist said it was one of the best products in the stores, and not so expensive, it does a great job on my hair. I just can't bring myself to spend $15+ on shampoo...I already spend enough getting my hair done :D
