Uploading photos

Hello all!

I've uploaded a photo to the (my?) gallery but am not able to see it at all. I got confirmation that my photo had been uploaded successfully, but I have no idea where it went from there, LOL.

It's probably just me having a major brain cramp but I'd love a little help figuring this out.

Hey Meri,

When you click into your UserCP (located above 'Post Reply") then click on "Upload Photos". You'll find the photo and then enter in the info and click "submit/process". Your info will pop up and you'll have to click on "Process". Then your photo should pop up in your profile and also in our member directory. Let me know how this goes!

Hm. It didn't work quite the way you described.

I got to the "submit/process" button and clicked it, but wasn't prompted to "process" again. It just told me my photo had been uploaded successfully...but it's not there.

I've tried this at home and at work now. The only common denominators with the two computers are Windows XP, Internet Explorer, and Norton Anti-Virus. I also have Norton Firewall at home.

Any ideas?

Does your photo meant the requirements for size and format as explained on the upload page?

Every photo that I tried to submit came up as too big. These are digital photos that are stored on my camera or on my computer. how do I get them smaller?

You'll need to use some sort of software to reduce them. I typically use Photoshop. I don't know what the PC comes with that can alter the size of photos. Maybe someone with a PC can help you out! :D
