Sigh, another month, another round of layoffs. When is it going to end. They laid off 16 employees this month, this was just from our division. Some were deserved ;) but others were just due to downsizing.
During all this, I got some good news about my job. They are looking to make me an Admin for one of our programs for all of Texas. For now, it will only be for one other division but the ultimate goal would be to have me in charge for all of Texas. There were some people who nominated me, so really made me feel good. However; I feel guilty for feeling good because there are so many who are losing their jobs every month. :(
