I have a friend that has frizzy curly hair and we have tried many things to make it look better. I currently help her flat iron it when she wants to go out that way it looks better. But what can we do to make it look good and stay curly with out it looking like she stuck her finger in a light socket?

Hi Danielle,
While I don't have curly hair, I do know of a product by bio silk that is suppose to tame the frizzies. I use it on my straight hair to tame fly aways. It is a liquid that you smooth all over your hair before or after blow drying. Works for me. Might be worth a try for your friend.
I don't have curly hair either, but I would have your friend try a highly recommended hair dresser for ideas. A good one will suggest a good cut for your friend...as well as any products that will help get her the look she wants.
Take care

Have you heard of Ojon Hair products? I use them in the UK after seeing them in QVC over here. They are amazing! I had over processed my hair and as well as it getting very dry and brittle (that bad it was breaking off near the roots :( and I had little tufts of hair sticking up all over the place :( ) it started to get very frizzy too. I purchased the hair care, pre-treatment oil, shampoo and conditioner and after only using it all once, noticed a difference in my hair and for the better!! That was 6mths ago and since then my hair has become stronger, has repaired itself so it doesn't break anymore and when I colour it now it feels so soft and managable it's unreal!! I would really recommend these products and i'm sure you can buy them from QVC in the US. Try them and let me know how you get on. You can also look at their website www.ojon.com but the prices and deals are cheaper on QVC.

If the hair is just frizz or kinky, she can get it permed or straightened. For natural curly hair it's fun to just use a good quaility sculpting foam (Paul Mitchell is great) scrunch it into wet hair and let it dry naturally. I like to wear sparkly hair bands or even low ponytails are cute since my hair is getting long. It's best not to brush or comb it when dry.

I will make sure she tries these ideas. I was wondering if a hot oil conditioning treatment would do her any good or not? I have stick straight hair myself so I am clueless on what to do for her and don't want to harm her hair.
