New York, New York

I am so excited. Dh and I are headed to NY next Thursday for a long weekend with two other couples. We had been talking about doing this for a year or so now, finally made the plans and next week we will be off! :yahooo:

I'm not sure on all the plans yet as we have made a long wish list. Obviously we won't be able to do it all in one long weekend, but will enjoy whatever we get to do. My fingers are crossed that I will get to ice skate at Rockefeller Center. Not sure if it's too early in the year for that though.

We do have tickets to two Broadway shows; The Lion King and WestSide Story. We have never been to Broadway, so really really excited about that!

As it happens, we leave on our anniversary. What a nice way to celebrate. :D

Very cool. Enjoy your trip. There is defintely way more to see and do than you can cover in a long weekend.

There is nothing like seeing a show, especially a musical on Broadway. I hope you get to skate. I think that would be awesome and have thought how nice it would be to glide along in that rink in front of the Christmas tree. Then I realize it would not be that awesome since I'd be dragging myself around the rink by holding on to the railing for dear life since I can't skate. :eek:

I've only been to New York once and that was a very long time ago.
The Broadway shows sound great. I hope that you get to ice skate too - I don't think I could do that :)
