Does anybody else make jewelry or do any beading? I made some jewelry for my nieces for christmas. I am currently beading a butterfly chest of drawers topper. I took a preprinted cross stitch pattern.

Hello ~

I go thru phases. I am a beader, make mostly earrings. Currently my phase is using coil-less safety pins, nipping the point off and putting beads on it for a different type of earring.

I used to do more but don't have an outlet for my work. I do love it, just make too much for me to wear. I still make items for me for special occasions and love looking at my Fire Mountain Gems catalogs when they come in the mail.

I made some bead jewlery a few years ago when I was receovering from surgery. I did a few pieces and got some better tools because I enjoyed it...but got sidetracked by other things and haven't done anything since.

Recently I came across the supplies and thought I should make something, but I have a feeling it will be very frustrating with my current cat. My previous cat was pretty good at leaving things alone...this one will want to scatter all the beads. :o

Take care

I'd love to try this. I recently bought a few homemade pieces and really like them. I also have a coworker who has recently started doing this. I like that her pieces are one of a kind and really do get noticed.

I love to bead. I just wish that I had more time in my day to get some done.

I like to bead too. I made angel earrings for people for Chirstmas and my kids and I love to make beaded bookmarks. My older daughter just got her ears pierced and the earlobes are really thick so it helped to know what to look for and ask for. Also I can make her fun earrings. I get pionts for having the tools to fix stuff too... ;)

I make jewelry, bead, and crochet. I switch it up so I don't get bored. A lot of my stuff has been given away as gifts but I have sold a few things for charity and profit.
