I just found Girls Get Going from a St. Louis discussion group. I am a married mother of two teens, holding onto my 40's by a thread. I am moving into career coaching for stay-at-home mothers. My experience is in Marketing, however, chasing after tradional jobs at my stage of life is a bit of a challenge. There are many women like myself that have put our careers, jobs on hold. We have a voice, we just need to widen our reach and am interested in doing this for myself and others. I look forward to hearing from others how you are transforming yourselves through networking, educational pursuits or new business activities. Hello, and thanks for the welcome. ;)

Hi! My two girls have left home, but my son is still in high school. Thank goodness! Although he can be a challenge at times. I am back at school myself, and I'm pursuing an early childhood education degree so I can teach! I'm about halfway through my program, and have about two years before I graduate. If I stay on schedule, I will graduate when my son graduates high school and my daughter graduates college.
