Flea Markets?

I love to go to flea markets. I try to go when the weather is nice. I pick up odds and ends, and look for primitive/country items.

That's something I do with my sisters when I visit them in Maine. There are plenty of them around, and some are more like huge second hand shops where people rent a space but the business owners handle the sale on consignment. That's where I get most of my vintage tea cups because they aren't as expensive as they are in most other states.

In Tucson we have tons of yard sales and a few swap meets, but I also really like going when I'm in a different city or state. Then I have something to take home to remind me of my travels.

I enjoy flea markets! The best is in Canton, Texas where its miles and miles of booths...good stuff and junk!

We dont have flea markets up here (have seen them on various TV shows tho and they look like so much fun). But I love going to garage sales which I think is very similar....

I love to go to flea markets. You can get some really good deals. I have the apple pattern in my kitchen and I collected all of my pieces at the flea market. There was a booth that sold the apple pattern and everytime we visited the flea market I picked up a piece to add to my set. It took a little longer to complete the set, but it didn't hurt the pocket book near as much this way. :D

one of my favorite pasttimes in the spring and summer is flea markets, garage sales, resale shops. i'm always looking for deals and someone's elses junk is anothers jewels. lol
