Winter Weather

A couple of weeks ago we got a foot of snow and it just melted due to the heat wave. Last night we got another 8 inches. In my driveway there are 2 ft drifts.

I can't get my car out until I shovel the drive. The last couple snow storms people stopped by wanting to know if they could clear my drive for some cash -- where are they now?

I guess the good thing is I don't have to worry about the bad traffic on the roads. :rolleyes:

I am ready for warmer weather. How about you?

I am so done with this winter. Last winter was bad, mostly in February (we called it snowmegedon), but this year it just does not seem to stop. Since Thanksgiving, it's been constant. :brr: We had a couple of days last week that were gorgeous and it makes this weather worse. Yesterday we got another 8 1/2 inches, but since it was the holiday, they only had a skeleton crew on the roads. It normally takes my DH 45 minutes to get home from work. Last night it took 4 hours. It needs to be warm and sunny! :cool:

Come on down to Texas. Here in Texas, we went from ice storm to temps in the 80's. Even had the a/c on over the weekend. Crazy weather this year. Today is gorgeous though, low 70's with plenty of sunshine.

I have a niece in Grand Prairie (near DFW, I think). She's been telling me the same things about the weather down there. It's so different from up north. Finally, it seems like spring is trying to start. We will have a day in the 40s or 50s and evenings in the 20s, but we will have some sunshine. I think that's what I miss the most - the sun. Bring on summer!

We warmed up here, then dropped to below freezing again. Of course the snow has no where to go with the mounds of snow on the sides of my driveway so it is a skating rink in spots.

Cold again right now, then back to 40's later in the week with more snow on Sunday :-(
