Horseback Riding

Anyone else own a horse or love to go horse back riding? My baby, Poco Doc Cutter (I call him Doc), is a 4 yr old quarter horse gelding, sorrel with a white diamond on his forehead. I always loved horses. I started riding 3 years ago, and have owned my horse for 2 years now. (Yes, I'm a crazy green on green, but he is gentle and loves his mommy.)

I used to love horseback riding as a kid and finally managed to take lessons as an adult. That ended when I got thrown off the horse. By the time I healed enough to get back on, the weather got too cold and then I moved so taking lessons was no longer convienient.

I'd like to get back on again but haven't had the opportunity.

I love horse back riding, but do not get to do it very often. Many years ago I took a vacation to a Dude Ranch. I got to ride daily. It was lots of fun.

jcme ... don't let getting thrown keep ya from riding. If I would of done that I would never own my extremely gentle gelding :)

YellowRose ... Love the name. There was a beautiful Palimino where my horse was born named Yellow Rose. A dude ranch sounds fun. I always wanted to go but never did.
