Hi Twiz,

I get Netflix at my house and you can go online to put movies in a queue and see what's available. I just watched Wildflower. It is an older movie but it was good with reese witherspoon. But you be able to go online with Blockbuster too. But I don't know how they work. How is the pricing for them? I pay 19.00 a month for Netflix and get 3 movies at a time.

Also depends on what you like. I like horror. Skeleton Key was good, Comedy-40 year old virgin was good. Against the Ropes, Must love dogs, Gia, War of the Worlds, Stealth, Pirates of the Carribean. All those are good. I love to watch movies so I have seen a lot of them. I could go on and on. I watch at least 3 a week.

A few of my favorite movies on DVD: Ulee's Gold, Cross Creek, The Insider, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset -- and many more. I have going on 200 DVDs. But two of my most favorite movies still aren't on DVD -- Ruby In Paradise and Enchanted April.

There are a couple TV series I also wish would be released on DVD -- China Beach and St. Elsewhere.

Pay It Forward and Simon Birch are both very touching...

Maybe you could get a list online of oscar winning movies or some other type of list to give you ideas.... :bliss:

I can't say enough great things about this movie. I will be buying it this weekend. From someone who knew nothing about Cash and Carter, I was amazed. You'll enjoy it! :D

If you havent seen Second Hand Lions, this is a 'must see' in my book. And my favorite movie of all time, When Harry Met Sally. If you like romantic comedies, How to Lose A Guy in Ten Days is also really good.

We signed up for Nexflix in December and love it. We have the "3 at time" package. We saw Ladder 49 and Sideways this weekend and enjoyed both.

My favorite movie of all time is "The Princess Bride". It's like a fairy tale with lots of stars in in (before they were famous). My kids bought it for me for Christmas. I also loved "Old School" - very funny!

I bawled in Ladder 49! Such a great movie! It does make some men cry...even the tough ones.

We have had Netflix since Dec 2004, but they've noticably slowed down how fast we get our movies. I'm considering switching to Blockbuster.

I like:
Must Love Dogs
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Secondhand Lions
My Big Fat Greek Wedding (DH can quote dialog. LOL!)
Spanglish (get the tissues)
Beaches
Steel Magnolias
Fried Green Tomatos
I am Sam
Legally Blonde

I'm waiting to watch:
Zathura
In Her Shoes
Like Heaven

We also rent TV Series:
Star Trek: DS9
Gilmore Girls
Scrubs
