Hello Ladies,
I make soy candles and have wanted to venture into making soy candles with Essential Oils (E.O.'s). I have made a couple with straight Lavender E.O. but I was wondering if there are any of you ladies that make these and have different mixes that work really well for you. I make candles for myself, family and friends, you know, give them as gifts for holiday, birthdays and what not. This is something I do to relax and enjoy myself. I would love any suggestions or recipies that work really well for you. I would much rather have an all natural candle than a fragranced (synthetic) candle in my home and in my family and friends home. Thank you ladies and have a wonderful rest of your day!

I can't help you out but would love to pick your brain about your candle making. It sounds like something I would enjoy but never pursued it because it sounds really involved and messy. I remember when my daughter was in college she decided to make candles for christmas gifts one year. She had melted wax on the stove in a pot and accidentally poured it down the drain!!!!!
How do you make your candles? Is it expensive to get into?? I love candles and always burn them. It would be cool to make my own!! Thanks.
