Have you ever been driving along a road or walking along a street and felt disoriented and lost?

Recently I was driving in a town that was not my own. I had pulled over to gather some last minutes purchases and became disoriented to the instructions I had with me on a map. The day was cloudy and gray so I couldn't orient myself to the sun and find my way back to the main road.

I headed out of the parking lot and towards the busiest traffic in hopes of finding highway and street signs.

I drove a few miles seeing traffic signs that didn't help me. They didn't connect to the map's instructions. After another block or two, I pulled over and ran into the Wendy's hamburger place. I found two men sitting at a table with ties who looked safe. I showed them my map. They were happy to help.

Yes, I was on the right road. They pointed out the next street and connected it back to my map. I was so thankful! I went back to my car, back on the road, and back on track towards my destination. I couldn't imagine how my day would have ended if I didn't have that map with me.

God's path for us is lit up with street signs and help along the way. He provides us with The Map to make sure we find our way in the confusing world of signs and illusions. Keep God's Word with you as you walk the path He has provided for you. In it...is life and light!
